Notre \u00e9t\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 vraiment magnifique, avec de nombreuses journ\u00e9es ensoleill\u00e9es et des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es. La fuite est telle qu&rsquo;elle doit \u00eatre remplac\u00e9e rapidement.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le blog pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, je vous ai dit que nous avions install\u00e9 un nouveau plancher dans le moulin. Nous l&rsquo;avons fait pour pouvoir atteindre plus facilement la charpente du toit. Le sol est maintenant s\u00fbr et nous ne pouvons plus nous y enfoncer. Il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des dessins d\u00e9taill\u00e9s pour la scierie et les couvreurs.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons commenc\u00e9 la construction du toit en juin, et vous pouvez voir ci-dessous les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes, de la base du toit \u00e0 la fixation des chevrons et des lattes. Il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;un travail intensif qui a dur\u00e9 environ six semaines, avec des journ\u00e9es de travail de cinq jours par semaine, de t\u00f4t le matin \u00e0 midi. Il faisait alors au moins 30 degr\u00e9s. Tous vos v\u00eatements \u00e9taient tremp\u00e9s de sueur. Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9jeuner et le renouvellement des v\u00eatements, nous continuions g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pendant une heure ou deux. Chez nous, en France, nous avons une \u00e9curie, un abreuvoir et 2 hectares de terrain. Une fois notre g\u00eete pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre lou\u00e9, Joop s&rsquo;est mis \u00e0 la recherche d&rsquo;un cheval. Au cours de sa qu\u00eate, elle a d\u00e9couvert qu&rsquo;un cheval ne peut plus \u00eatre seul de nos jours, car il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un animal de troupeau. Le 5 juillet, Jolente et Leo ont finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 amen\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Mais avant l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e des chevaux, nous devions v\u00e9rifier les cl\u00f4tures des champs et les r\u00e9parer si n\u00e9cessaire. Les fils (2 kilom\u00e8tres) ont d\u00fb \u00eatre refaits et \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;une cl\u00f4ture \u00e9lectrique. Nous avons \u00e9galement d\u00fb cr\u00e9er des chemins de promenade pour les chevaux afin qu&rsquo;ils puissent se d\u00e9placer librement entre les \u00e9curies et les champs. Nous avons \u00e9galement stock\u00e9 du foin et de la paille, ce qui a permis d&rsquo;agrandir la grange de 25 m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s. Les chevaux ont besoin d&rsquo;autres aliments que le foin, tels que des granul\u00e9s, de la luzerne, des carottes, des pommes et de la paille, et nous avons donc d\u00fb en faire des r\u00e9serves. Dans les champs arri\u00e8re, nous avons install\u00e9 une pompe de p\u00e2turage, et dans le champ avant, nous avons plac\u00e9 de grands r\u00e9servoirs d&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n<p>Jolente et Leo sont ici maintenant. Il a fallu un certain temps pour que les chevaux s&rsquo;y habituent, mais aussi pour nous. Jolente est enfin moins stress\u00e9e et Leo doit encore prendre du poids. Nous avons d\u00fb nous adapter \u00e0 un nouveau rythme quotidien et veiller \u00e0 ce que les chevaux re\u00e7oivent les soins dont ils ont besoin, comme les visites chez le mar\u00e9chal-ferrant et le dentiste.
