About the cottage

The French call it a gîte; others call it a vacation home. Either way, we call it a place to unwind. Your own place with everything you need in the middle of nature. With the river on one side, and a meadow on the other side of the house, this is an out-of-the-way place to come to yourself, but fortunately the inhabited world is also close by. Read all about this fine place where up to four people can enjoy and with the French rhythm.

Ask us for tips! Within 30-40 minutes drive are beautiful trails.

Enjoy swimming in Lac du Setton (1h10) or Lac Nocle-Maulaix, for example.

The big fine print

Rates and conditions

  • Deposit: The amount is € 100.00 per rental period.
  • Tourist tax: It is already included in the rental price.
  • Pets: They are welcome but must be reported in advance.
  • Extras: We provide mountain bikes free of charge, helmets are provided. A high chair we put up on request.
  • Horse accommodation: Is possible on our property, the price and conditions we like to agree upon.
  • Cleaning: The cost for the final cleaning of the cottage is € 50.00.
  • Booking: We will send you a booking form which you must return completed. To secure your booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the total cost. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • Pets: Are welcome and must be notified in advance.
  • Number of persons: It is not permitted to stay with more people than specified unless discussed with us in advance.
  • Cancellation Policy: If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. If the stay is cancelled from 6 weeks before the start, the cancellation fee is 50% of the rental amount. For the cancellation terms, the initial arrival date of the booking applies.
  • Direct booking: The listed rates are valid when booking directly with us. If you book through another rental site, we charge different prices because of the commission.
High season (July/August):

  • The cost of the cottage is € 580.00 per week, excluding wood and costs for cleaning.
  • For a three-night stay, the cost is €270.00 and for each additional night €80.00 .

 

Low season (September to June):

  • The cost of the cottage is € 380.00 per week, excluding wood and costs for cleaning.
  • For a three-night stay, the cost is €210.00 and for each additional night €50.00.

 

Winter period (November to March):

  • We charge a surcharge of € 50.00 per week for electricity and wood consumption.
