We are Joop & Henri

In January 2022, our great adventure began: running an attractive vacation home in the middle of French nature. Our goal is to unwind, both for ourselves and our guests. Away from having to do anything, with all the time for each other and nature. On our estate with water mill, guest house and horse stable, we welcome you for a burgundian vacation.

  Geweldige tijd gehad. Mede dankzij goede gastheer/vrouw.

  Oude watermolen in een romantisch dalletje van het riviertje de Alène. Het stromen van het water is heel rustgevend. Heerlijk  om te verblijven.

  Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Rust, ruimte en natuur in een comfortabele ambiance in de prachtige Morvan vind je tijdens je verblijf bij Joop en Henri. De gite is netjes en verzorgd. Alles wat je nodig hebt is voorhanden. Kortom: een aanrader!

Lovely Avrée is a small commune in the French department of Nièvre. A total of only 94 people live there. So really unwind.

Morvan

The Morvan is a beautiful region located in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. It is a rural area rich in history and culture known for its vibrant forests, lakes and hills.

Le Moulin

Le Moulin d’Avrée – literally translated The Avrée Water Mill – has been our new home since 2022. We are happy to open our doors to let you too enjoy this idyllic place.
