About the cottage

The French call it a gîte; others call it a vacation home. Either way, we call it a place to unwind. Your own place with everything you need in the middle of nature. With the river on one side, and a meadow on the other side of the house, this is an out-of-the-way place to come to yourself, but fortunately the inhabited world is also close by. Read all about this fine place where up to four people can enjoy and with the French rhythm.

The big fine print

Rates and conditions

  • High season (July/August, school vacations): We charge €580 per week, excluding wood.
  • Low season (September to June): the price is €380 per week, excluding wood. For a three-night stay, it costs €210, and for each additional night €70.
  • Winter period (November to March): We charge a surcharge of €50 per week for electricity and wood consumption.
  • Deposit: The deposit is €100.
  • Tourist tax: It is already included in the rental price.
  • Pets: After consultation, your pet can come along for €25 per week.
  • Extras: We provide mountain bikes free of charge, helmets are provided. A high chair we put up on request.
  • Horse accommodation: Is possible on our property, the price and conditions we like to agree upon.
  • Cleaning: The cost for the final cleaning of the gîte is €50.
  • Bookings: In summer and during school vacations, we only rent the gîte by the week, from Saturday to Saturday, or by arrangement from Sunday to Sunday.
  • Booking: To secure your booking, we ask that you pay a deposit of €100 and email us the completed booking form. The remaining rental amount and deposit must be paid six weeks prior to arrival.
  • Pets: Are welcome after consultation and must be reported in advance.
  • Number of persons: It is not permitted to stay with more people than specified unless discussed with us in advance.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel more than six weeks before the start date, we will refund the deposit minus a €50 administrative fee. If you cancel within six weeks before the start date, you will owe the full rental fee. If we find replacement tenants, you will receive the rental fee and security deposit back, minus any loss earnings and a €50 administration fee.
  • Direct booking: The listed rates are valid when booking directly with us. If you book through another rental site, we charge different prices because of the commission.
